Hello Health and Meaningful Use

In January of 2016, Andy Slavitt announced that:

The Meaningful Use program as it has existed will now be effectively over and replaced with something better.

Since then, clarifications have come forth and Meaningful Use 3 (2015 Edition) has transitioned to become a part of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA).

The 2015 Edition requires significant resources in order to meet many of the requirements. Instead, these same resources will be used to innovate and improve the Hello Health technology further; in ways that will directly help our customers better run their practices.

Consequently, Hello Health is not planning to certify for the 2015 Edition, which will be required for the MIPS Promoting Interoperability (PI) Program, previously known as the Medicare EHR Incentive Program.
