Ability to Create Appointment Categories for the whole Practice

User’s with the ability to create practice appointment categories will see a new “Practice Appointment Categories sub-section under Settings-Scheduling. To create a practice appointment category, click Add New and complete the field as you would for an individual user category.

For users without the ability to create practice appointment categories, they will see all appointment categories and can see whether they’re their categories, or practice level categories.

If a user category has the same name as a practice category, the user level will override the practice level category.

Appointment Categories organized Alphabetically

When scheduling or using the category filter all appointment categories will be displayed in alphabetical order.

Patient Demographics

Capturing a Patient’s Sex and Gender

Previously there was a “gender” field with the options male and female. We have relabeled this field to “Sex” and added a new “Gender” field. You can capture a patient’s sex and use the gender field for additional information related their gender.
